It's been a pretty great ride, but unfortunately, as the old saying goes, all good things must come to an end.

It's with extreme sadness that I must let you know that effective today, Monday July 7th, 2008, w00tz! will be closed permanently. Obviously all events that we had scheduled are cancelled. I'm sure there will some speculation, but I unfortunately cannot go into much detail here as to the reasons why this is happening.

We all wish that things hadn't come to this, and we did everything we possibly could have to avoid this day. We certainly also wish that we had at least been able to provide you with more notice, but things have progressed faster than any of us anticipated. Many of you are, as you know, more than simply customers, and we're going to miss seeing you all. If any of you happen to have left any personal property that you need to reclaim, please contact us via email as soon as possible so that we can make arrangements for you to come and pick it up.

We'll keep the forums available for as long as possible so you can all exchange contact info, vent and say your goodbyes.

November 23, 2008 - Update on liquidation sale

Four months and a number of attorney conferences later, we finally received permission to liquidate our equipment. A complete equipment inventory list is available here, while a game inventory list is posted here. If you see something you are interested in, send us an email with an offer. Nothing reasonable will be refused at this point. We want to stress that all sales will be final, and everything is being sold as-is, since we're unfortunately not in a position to provide warranties, guarantees or refunds.

Last but not least, thanks to all of you for three years of incredible support! We'll be seeing you around.
